Anyway Maya is probably the most forgiving character in the game to build. Most people end up hitting the capstone in cataclysm because it's free slag, but a lot of the rest is preference. If you want leveling advice, I usually go down cataclysm first (maybe throw a couple point into healing orbs if you want health regen).

I feel like either anarchy Gaige or grog nozzle +whatever salvador is the best for soloing. 400+ stacks of anarchy is more than enough to kill anything in the game, and the grog nozzle makes Salvador very very hard to kill due to ridiculous health regen. OP Maya is serious work, while OP Gaige really is fun. I generally play solo btw. Certainly story missions, progressing the character etc. I play with friends, but usually as support in their games. I don't know what class mods / weapons / relics you are using. Your skills build will depend on these.I'd use something like the Florentine for sure. And depends if you have converge, I'd recommend a Slowhand or an Interfacer for one slot. Florentine will slag, and if you use antagonist it'll slag as well so you'll have that covered for when you're on cooldown, for grenades, either singularity or something that has an area effect like storm front or chain lightning, imo.

Edit: Gear doesn't matter too much for harmony maya, but I usually prefer a turtle shield and as good of a merciful or angelic nurse mod as I can get. For a pure healer, a good blue or purple nurse is at least as good as the legendary mod. As for guns, focus on stuff with good burst damage to output as much damage as you can while wreck is on ...Bee shield is great with Maya! Downside to Pangolin shields is that they make Elated less effective for your companions. Not a concern for a solo run. The other downside is that you don't get full effectiveness from Ward due to the silly shield capacity cap (relaxed in the Pre-Sequel, yay, but that doesn't help Maya).2. 5. Kill Skill. Salvador needs to be excluded because just about any build will take down a raid boss. Now if you want a challenge, use Maya. With Salvador the only real strategy is to maximize money shot, fire rate, and use a moxxie weapon to keep your health up. A basic Rubi and Harold will do the trick. If you have 30% Element chance and +10% Badass Element Chance, you get 33% Element chance, as 3% is a 10% boost to 30%. Maya's Flicker skill works in the same way.
