Seems by yalls answers they in all and only tied to cities now. I've found a trader in every biome so far, there's one linked to each city I believe. I have Rekt in the forest, Bob in the Desert, two Jens in the Snow and a Jen in the Wasteland. As for removing all the traders I think you would have to turn on loot respawn. Maybe set it to a very high day count just to make sure you aren't just looting the same buildings over and over. When you complete the tier of quests where it REWARDS you for the Tier Completion, you wont get offered the next tier of quests until the next day. The "opening trade routes" CAN go to prior discovered traders and that is NOT a bug. But the next tier of unlocks only shows up ...You can then type teleport followed by the coordinates or press ESC and type the coordinates into the teleport boxes.
